Marketing consultant. Music industry veteran. Counter-culture expert.

Missy Worth has been a force to be reckoned with in music and entertainment for over 30 years. Fluent in counter-culture, Missy made a name for herself first in rock and today in hip hop. Her journey in music and entertainment started as an assistant for the biggest artist managers in the game, and quickly transitioned to the music department at William-Morris.

Her experience there parlayed into venue management at the celebrated Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. There, Missy converted the iconic venue, housed on the Universal Studios lots, into a rock venue with major marketing initiatives, most notably her concept ‘Party in the Pit.’ Additionally, Missy concepted and hosted the first KROQ Acoustic Christmas, a concert and event series that continues today. Her groundbreaking efforts in marketing and promotion recruited the biggest acts in rock and roll, such as Jane’s Addiction, Depeche Mode, Oingo Boingo, Nine Inch Nails, and many more.

With her heart in live music, Missy stepped into the Lollapalooza brain trust, collaborated closely with Perry Farrell, Marc Geiger, and Don Muller on the festival’s founding. Missy brought her marketing and partnerships expertise to the inaugural years of the festival, undoubtedly making Lollapalooza the global festival it is today. Next, Missy set her sights on life at a record label, first at Sony Music, where she created the Touring Department across all labels. There, she focused on selecting and touring rising acts around the United States. Her knack for artist discovery and development led Missy to her role as Senior Vice President of Artist Development (West Coast) for Columbia Records. There, she cultivated acts we know today as Titans of rock and alternative music, including Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Jeff Buckley, Big Audio Dynamite, and Rage Against the Machine.

From there, there was only one music-industry role left: Label President. In 1996 Missy accepted a role at Giant Records where she signed and marketed acts like Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Letters to Cleo, Big Head Todd, Agnes Gooch, and Disturbed. Missy then transitioned to artist management, starting her own company where she managed artists such as Rise Against, Stabbing Westward, Yellow Card, Anti-Flag, and today, Death from Above 1979 and Titlefight.

In the years since, Missy has found her professional home doing what she does best: all of it. She is currently working as head of Music & Entertainment Marketing at Bacardi Limited. There, she has structured multi-million dollar deals with Live Nation addressing theatre, amphitheaters, and festivals, and crafted the music platform ‘The Sound of Rum.” Missy continues to drive “Sound of Rum'' campaign work, brokering partnerships with Swizz Beatz, Anitta, Diplo, Meek Mill, Boi-1da, Leslie Grace, and many more. A career spent promoting and marketing rockstars has made Missy Worth a rockstar in her own right. Her experience in music & entertainment alongside marketing has made her fluent in both languages, and an excellent negotiator between both worlds. Her passion for art, her tenacious work ethic, and her impossibly vast network make her a tour de force in any industry.
